Ok, so part of me wanted to hate these leggings because they are so expensive, but the other part of me wanted to love them…because they’re so expensive. Turns out it was the latter. They are amazing leggings. They are comfortable and fit really well, they look good, and they offer a lot of different looks and activity styles, i.e. yoga, running, multi-activity. These are the ones I got:
Description: All The Right Places Low-Rise Pant II 28”
Color: Black
Cost: $128 on final sale for $89
Features: Designed to keep you covered in all the right places, these low-rise pants are made with our smooth, four-way stretch Full-On Luxtreme fabric for ultimate support and coverage through every activity.
Until I started doing these workout legging review posts, I thought choosing leggings was just about what looked cute on the hanger/model and the cost. Honestly, that’s all I looked for when purchasing a workout legging. I knew the difference between a casual legging as part of regular dress attire and workout leggings – Ryan still doesn’t realize there’s a difference. Now I can also see that it really does matter if they were intended for a run or a yoga workout, but there are a lot of details that make a difference for comfort during a workout when choosing a legging brand and style.
I wore the above described lululemon legging to the Manitou Incline. The incline, according to Wikipedia, is a fitness challenge for locals of the Colorado Springs area as it gains 2,011 feet of elevation in .88 miles horizontal. Currently the Incline has approximately 2,744 steps from the bottom to the summit. Once you climb up the stairs you can either go back down the way you came, which I did only once. Or, you can run, walk, hike, crawl (haha) down Barr Trail (2.79 miles). I like to run it, although it can be a little dangerous…I’ve tripped and caught myself on multiple occasions. I think this was a great test of these pricey leggings, and they took it with a grain of salt, so to speak. I LOVE these leggings. They fit and feel so good. The tag says, “hugged sensation” and it is so true. I’m glad I decided to wear these for this physical challenge because I didn’t have to worry about pulling them up or down or being wet and sweaty, etc. I could just do my thing, and I did. While I was running down, I was thinking I want to wear the Old Navy leggings next time just to compare the highest priced legging and the lowest priced legging and see which was best or if there is even a recognizable difference. For this review, however, lululemon leggings get an A+.
Next week I will do the last review on GymShark leggings, but I’m still waiting for them to be delivered, so it will probably be mid-week. In the meantime, I will post all about Arbonne’s holiday line because it’s awesome!
Thanks for reading!
